A tailor-made web application that simplifies, speeds up and legally secures the previously manual and error-prone process of creating service contracts.
Until now, service contracts were drafted manually in Word documents. People had to copy a template, edit or remove color-marked passages and fill in relevant information by hand.
The approach was time-consuming, required deep expertise in compliance and contract law, and frequently led to inconsistencies between documents — with the corresponding legal and organizational risks.
The new web application offers a dynamic, bilingual interface (German / English) and guides users step by step through an intelligent questionnaire.
Depending on the choices made — whether a supplier is based outside the EU or wood products are used — the contract text is generated automatically and adjusted live. The finished contract can then be downloaded as a Word document, edited further in Microsoft 365 if needed and archived in an audit-proof way.
Role-based access enables differentiated responsibilities — from editing individual text modules to full administration of the contract generator.
Contracts integrate seamlessly into existing workflows, can be shared in Teams and stored in an audit-proof way in SharePoint — without media discontinuities.
Interface and contract texts are fully available in German and English. The structure is designed so that additional languages can be added with minimal effort.
Text modules and contract logic can be maintained via the UI without developer support — keeping the system flexibly adaptable to new legal requirements over the long term.
The contract generator significantly reduces manual effort, minimizes sources of error and ensures consistent, legally sound service contracts. At the same time, work becomes easier and more efficient for employees, with the entire process clearly guided and digitally supported.
